HOW TO MEASURE AND PURCHASE WALLPAPER

Wallpaper Your World Estimating Method
Measure the width of each wall and add the measurements together. Then measure the wall height.
Multiply the combined width by the wall height to determine the total square footage to be covered (Total Sq. Ft).
Do not deduct windows, doors, cabinets, vanities, or built-ins. This helps ensure sufficient wallpaper is ordered and accounts for installation waste.
Usable Coverage Per Single Roll
0–6 inch repeat = 25 sq. ft.
7–12 inch repeat = 22 sq. ft.
13–18 inch repeat = 20 sq. ft.
19–23 inch repeat = 18 sq. ft.
Quick Formula
Pattern repeat 18 inches or less: Total Sq. Ft. ÷ 20 = Single Rolls Needed
Pattern repeat 19–25 inches: Total Sq. Ft. ÷ 18 = Single Rolls Needed
