Returns & Cancellation Policy

Checkout Acknowledgment

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have reviewed and accepted our Return & Cancellation Policy and Terms of Service

  • Wallpaper must be inspected prior to installation

  • Opened, cut, installed, commercial, custom, vintage, antique, and designated final-sale items are not eligible for return

  • Approved returns are subject to restocking fees and return freight costs

  • All wallpaper returns require prior authorization and must be unopened, uncut, and unused

  • Commercial / high-performance wallpaper and clearance or showroom sale items are final sale

  • Approved returns may be subject to up to a 35% restocking fee + return shipping

  • Inspect all items immediately upon delivery

  • Damage must be reported within 15 days of delivery

  • After 30 days, all items become non-returnable

  • J Poles Home items are final sale and sold as-is


General Important Notices

  • Wallpaper Your World is not responsible for merchandise not picked up within 30 days of delivery

  • Some manufacturers do not allow direct drop shipping; orders may ship to our showroom first

  • Orders are considered shipped once a tracking number is issued

  • We are not responsible for wallpaper quantity miscalculations (overages or shortages)

  • Dye lot variations and color differences may occur; samples are strongly recommended


Order Status Definitions

Orders Not Yet Shipped

An order is considered not shipped if it has not been released to the manufacturer and no tracking number has been issued.

Cancellation Requests:

  • May be submitted via form or email

  • Requests received Wednesday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM (EST) may be processed same day

  • Requests outside these hours are handled during normal business hours

  • Cancellation is not guaranteed and depends on manufacturer release status


Orders That Have Shipped or Been Delivered

  • Orders are considered shipped once a tracking number has been issued or sent to our showroom

  • Once shipped, orders may no longer be eligible for cancellation


Inspection & Damage Claims (Very Important)

  • Inspect all items immediately upon delivery and before installation

  • Do not cut, install, or alter wallpaper before inspection

  • Installation constitutes acceptance of the product

  • Damage or defects must be reported within 15 days of delivery

  • Keep all original packaging for claims

  • After 30 days, items are non-returnable and non-refundable regardless of condition


Returns – Wallpaper, Murals & Borders

  • Returns require prior authorization and manufacturer approval

  • Items must be unopened, uncut, unused, and in original condition

  • Opened or cut rolls are not eligible for return under any circumstances

  • We are not responsible for labor or installation costs

Manufacturer Restrictions

Some brands are final sale and do not allow returns, including but not limited to:

  • Mind the Gap

  • Sancar Wallcoverings

  • Designers Guild

  • Sanderson

  • Harlequin

  • Osborne & Little


Restocking Fees & Return Shipping

  • Approved returns are subject to up to a 35% restocking fee

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • Fees will be deducted from the refund


Non-Returnable Products (Final Sale)

The following items are final sale:

  • Clearance items (especially 50% off or more)

  • J Poles Home décor, accessories, vintage & antique items

  • Lighting

  • Commercial / high-performance wallcoverings

  • Price-matched items

  • Custom wallpaper or murals

  • Any specifically marked non-returnable items


J Poles Home Items

  • Sold as-is and final sale

  • Must be inspected immediately upon delivery

  • Damage must be reported within 15 days

  • Natural wear consistent with vintage condition is not considered damage


Return Authorization (Required)

Returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorization (RA) Number.

To request an RA, please provide:

  • Name

  • Address (City, State)

  • Email

  • Order number

  • Date received

  • Pattern number

  • Quantity being returned

  • Reason for return

Do not return merchandise without receiving instructions.


Refunds

  • Credit card refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Cash/check refunds are mailed within 10 days

  • Refunds are issued minus restocking fees, freight, and applicable charges
